Ms. Potter has successfully litigated numerous employment cases, including: discrimination and harassment (involving race, gender, age, pregnancy, and others), sex harassment and assault in the workplace, retaliation, violations of medical leave law, disability discrimination in the workplace, wrongful termination, unfair business practices, and wage and hour (including unequal pay and PAGA).
Ms. Potter has worked on numerous discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, family leave, medical leave, and employment disability leave cases. She is intimately involved in all aspects of her cases, from intakes and getting to know her clients, to the administrative DFEH and EEOC process, discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, settlement and trial. Through her dedication to and tenacious representation of her clients and their causes, Ms. Potter has obtained millions for her clients and was quickly promoted to the position of lead employment attorney. Ms. Potter stays involved in her community, is active in several organizations and keeps abreast of developments in the law that can affect her clients. She is a member of the National and California Employment Organizations (NELA and CELA) and attends annual CELA conferences.
